On August 31, 2023, under the leadership of Professor Guo Chengchen from the School of Engineering at Xihu University, Dr. Ji Peihong from Matrix Medical was invited to visit Xihu University and the Laboratory of Functional Biomaterials. We have learned about the scientific research and application transformation process of "versatile silk", as well as new biomedical materials, advanced medical devices, and tissue engineering products based on natural materials such as silk protein, collagen, and polysaccharides.
This visit and exchange allowed us to experience the atmosphere of West Lake University's pursuit of excellence and emphasis on academic research, as well as its advantages and potential in interdisciplinary and innovative talent cultivation. We will bring these experiences and insights back to our research work, continuously improve and enhance our research level and abilities, and make greater contributions to the development of the medical industry.
