The 3rd Oriental Medical Innovation Summit was successfully held in Suzhou from April 7th to 8th, 2023. The summit, with the theme of "Eastern Gathering Intelligence - Creating a Winning Future", gathered numerous guests including academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, renowned experts and scholars, founders of medical enterprises, and partners of medical investment institutions to explore cutting-edge medical innovation concepts, promote independent medical innovation, and transform medical achievements.

At the opening of the summit, Professor Ge Junbo, member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, vice chairman of the Central Committee of the Jiusan Society, academician of the CAS Member, and director of the Department of Cardiology of Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University, delivered a wonderful keynote speech entitled "Development Direction of Interventional Therapy for Panvascular Diseases"

The highlights of this summit include the Summit Dialogue Forum and the five major "Innovation Forums". During this period, Professor Gu Zhongwei, General Manager and Chief Scientist of Matrix Medical, led a team to participate in the conference and delivered presentations on the themes of "New Materials and Natural Vascular Stent Development" and "New Materials and Medical Applications".
